Umbria

Umbria, the greenest region in Italy is located directly in the center of the peninsula. It is filled with forests, a renown cuisine featuring a lot of truffles, fine red wines like Sagrantino di Montefalco, and countless hilltop cities and villages, most of which you can see in their entirety from the ground below. Perugia is the capital and largest city, home to a wonderful array of medieval and renaissance architecture within its hilltop city-centre.

Places on our tour will include: Assisi, Orvieto, Perugia, Spoleto, Lake Trasimeno, Gubbio, Foligno, Spello, and many others.

The wines are very similar to those found in Tuscany, but often preferred by the experts and by the customers, as their prices are much lower than the more infamous Chianti and so forth.
